Floods 2013 - waters 2. Order, actually flooded areas (WFS service)
Description
Proven extent of areas flooded by flooding in second-order waters in the urban area of the state capital Dresden (valid version of January 2014). The presentation summarises the information on the maximum extent of the floods caused by the flood event in June 2013. Not included in the illustration are floods in the area of the mouth of the waters of the second order into the Elbe. These areas are shown in the areas flooded by the Elbe, as the floods there were mainly caused by the Elbe. The floods at the Lockwitz-Mühlgraben are also not shown, as they were mainly caused by the Lockwitzbach and are therefore depicted in the Lockwitzbach floodplain. Furthermore, the impoundment areas of the flood retention basins, with the exception of the Weixdorf forest bath (because of its dual function as a bath), are not included in the illustration.
