Drinking water protection areas for surface water — flowing waters
Description
In the Free State of Saxony, drinking water protection areas are designated for groundwater captures, including for the extraction of water filtrate and infiltrate as well as for surface water extraction, mainly from drinking water dams. As of 31.12.2020, 4 drinking water protection areas for surface water extraction from flowing waters are set in Saxony.
