Description
As the landscape has become increasingly intersected by busy roads in recent decades, many thousands of amphibians fall victim to road traffic every year. Therefore, the city of Braunschweig erects fences or other barriers at all important amphibian changes, which are intended to prevent the unprotected migration. The fences and collection points are supervised by volunteers. The map shows the exact locations of the protective fences and the amphibian protection buckets.
