Sustainability initiatives
Description
The Dresden city region is home to a large number of initiatives that are committed to the ecological dimension of sustainability and are actively committed to it. As part of the ARTS research project of the Leibniz Institute for Ecological Spatial Development (IÖR), an attempt was made to identify all initiatives in Dresden that meet the following criteria:
- It is a group that is located in the city region of Dresden and actively works to bring about local changes in the sense of the ecological dimension of sustainability.
Explicitly not included are therefore initiatives that deal mainly with the social or economic dimension of sustainability, which do not focus on the local level, but rather pursue national or global agendas and which act as individuals.
