City of Helsinki budget information

City of Helsinki budget data from 2012 onwards. The information is at the usage plan level. The data includes the city's operating income, operating expenses and depreciation. The organisational structure of the City of Helsinki changed significantly as of 1 June 2017, and the organisational structure of the central administration also changed as of 1 June 2018. Due to the change in the financial planning system, the budget data from 2016 onwards are in separate files. Data for 2016 are at agency level only.

The data model for 2012-2015 is as follows:

• Agency + name: Name and number of the Agency
• Department + name: Name and number of the department of the Agency
• Profit unit + name: Unit name and number
• Account group + name: Account group name and number
• General ledger account + name: Name and number of the general ledger account
• Result budget: Results budget approved by the Board (€)

Starting from 2023, the City of Helsinki's finances will be examined in three sections: Helsinki total, municipal-Helsinki and social services, health and rescue services (sotepe).
