LGRB-BW RAW: Surface extraction of raw materials (area)
Description
Area data collected at the raw material holdings, whereby the LGRB’s “farm surveys” usually take place either in the context of the Regional Plan Advice of the LGRB, with opinions as the bearer of public concerns, with the preparation of raw materials maps or on the occasion of the raw material report. The following groups of areas are distinguished: The property, which is subdivided into the area types of extraction area = cleared area currently affected by mining (“scarved” area), including possibly recultivated/regenerated areas as well as areas without degradation. Extension area = still “unscarved”, but already approved for mining. Former mining area = abandoned, partly reclaimed or fully filled, decommissioned extraction site. The collection points entered in the database have a unique name (operation ID), which consists of the TK25 sheet number and a serial number (archive number, Arnum for short). This means: (1) Arnums up to and including 99: Extraction sites that have been collected since the mid-1980s as part of the raw material protection concept. (2) Arnums from 100 to 299 inclusive: Extraction sites collected in the 1950s. (3) Arnums from 300: Extraction sites which had already been dismantled before the mid-1980s.
