Cartographic model 1:250 000 vector cut-off date 1.7.2023
Description
The KM250-V comprises the contents of the cartographic model 1:200 000 – grid (KM200-R) in vector form, but only from the federal territory and generalised according to the scale of 1:250 000.
Austria’s share of the EuroRegionalMap (ERM) pan-European dataset is derived from this.
The Austrian national card 1:250 000 (ÖK250) derived from the KM250-V is printed in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMLV).
The KM250-V is divided into the following object areas:
• Land cover
• Single signatures
• Waters
• Elevation layer lines (incl. attributes)
• Names
• Spatial division
• Settlement
• Traffic
Reference date = creation date:
The data for this day are the most up-to-date database of the BEV.
This is not identical with the recording or survey date.
