Biomass distribution of Maurolicus muelleri from SEAPODYM model

Description

The map of biomass estimate of Maurolicus muelleri was created using the output of the SEAPODYM model (Lehodey et al., 2015). SEAPODYM-LMTL is a pseudo 3D dynamical model that model populations of micronekton according to their dial vertical migration (Lehodey et al. 2010, Lehodey et al. 2015, Conchon 2016). Maurolicus muelleri is a migrant species, mostly found on the shelf and was modelled with the group D2N1. This mechanistic model estimates fish biomass as a function of environmental conditions and demographic processes. The map is a yearly average of the distribution of biomass, please note the distribution of biomass varies in time.
