Flood hazard map – flood hazards at 50-yearly floods (HQ 50)
Description
The flood hazard map includes four individual cards for different mean recurrence intervals in the range of frequent (every 20/25 years) to very rare (every 200 years) events. The risk of flooding is determined by the water depth occurring, if necessary also flow speed and by the annuality (statistical recurrence interval in years). In addition to the drainage, the extent of the flooded surface may also be affected by backlogs due to slide and drift deposits.
