Digital True Orthophotos (TrueDOP) 2022 (WMS)
Description
This service provides aerial images of Cologne's urban area from 2022 as Digital True Orthophotos (TrueDOP). Digital True Orthophotos (TrueDOP) are high-resolution, distortion-free, true-to-scale, georeferenced and tilt-free images of the Earth's surface. They are produced by photogrammetric methods in knowledge of the orientation parameters and with the addition of an image-based digital surface model (bDOM) from aerial images. The tilt-free display provides a vertical view of the earth's surface for each individual point of the image. The DOPs are available throughout the city of Cologne. They are produced according to the product standard of the country, which is based on the specifications of an AdV standard (AdV Working Group of the Surveying Administrations of the Länder) and have a floor resolution of 7.5 cm / pixel. The product is 4-channel multispectral images with the channel assignment RGB-NIR (red-green-blue-near infrared). However, there are only RGB channels in the service.
