JHS 188 Maintenance of national road and street network data and documentation of maintenance data
Description
National legislation obliges the Finnish Transport Agency, the National Land Survey of Finland and municipalities to maintain national road and street network data. The recommendation is intended to support the maintenance obligation of these organisations. The aim is that, as a result of the maintenance work in accordance with the guidelines of the Recommendation, the organisations mentioned will produce content and structurally defined network material, which can be easily combined and used in different information systems. The recommendation deals with the maintenance of national road and street network data using the national link node model and the transfer of data based on the XML/GML (network topology schema) defined in the KRYSP project. This schema has been supplemented with mandatory parts of the INSPIRE RoadTransportNetwork schema. (10.4.2014)
