Project commitments: Commuter-weighted accessibility of employees after 1-km grid cells

Description

The dataset is a result of the research project "Bindings" carried out on behalf of the BMDV (R&D - project number 97.421/2019). The project was carried out by a consortium led by the Federal Statistical Office with the participation of the teaching and research area Freight Transport Planning and Transport Logistics of the University of Wuppertal, the Federal Employment, Information and Technology Agency of North Rhine-Westphalia, Prof. Dr. Ralf Münnich (University of Trier), Prof. Dr. Timo Schmid (Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg) and Teralytics GmBH. The data set includes accessibility in motorised private transport (mIV) and public passenger transport (ÖPV) of employees subject to social security contributions and only marginally paid (SvB and aGeB). The dataset consists of 2 parts. The results are experimental in nature. They are based on an innovative combination of data from different sources using new methods. In terms of methodological maturity, they differ from the results of official statistics. Due to the size of the dataset, it is divided into 2 parts and is offered in zip format.
