Project commitments: Employees by relation between the place of residence abroad and the place of work and 1-km lattice cells

Description

The dataset is a result of the research project "Bindings" carried out on behalf of the BMDV (R&D - project number 97.421/2019). The project was carried out by a consortium led by the Federal Statistical Office with the participation of the teaching and research area Freight Transport Planning and Transport Logistics of the University of Wuppertal, the Federal Employment, Information and Technology Agency of North Rhine-Westphalia, Prof. Dr. Ralf Münnich (University of Trier), Prof. Dr. Timo Schmid (Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg) and Teralytics GmBH. The dataset includes the residence-place of work relations of employees (subject to social security contributions and only marginally paid employees – SvB + aGeB) between the place of residence abroad and the place of work by 1 km grid cells broken down by sex, age, working time, economic sector and occupational status.
