Project commitments: Static working population by binding traffic cells

Description

The dataset is a result of the research project "Bindings" carried out on behalf of the BMDV (R&D - project number 97.421/2019). The project was carried out by a consortium led by the Federal Statistical Office with the participation of the teaching and research area Freight Transport Planning and Transport Logistics of the University of Wuppertal, the Federal Employment, Information and Technology Agency of North Rhine-Westphalia, Prof. Dr. Ralf Münnich (University of Trier), Prof. Dr. Timo Schmid (Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg) and Teralytics GmBH. The dataset is based on the dataset "Project bindings: Source-Target-Matrix Commuter after 1x1km Connection-Traffic Cells" and contains information on the place of work. Shapefiles are available for the binding cells in Mobilithek (search for ‘Project Bindings: Shapefiles Bindings Cells’; Data set ID 767718144937472000).
