Description
Annual Reports of the Authority against Racism and Discrimination. The Anti-Discrimination Authority, which has been operating since 2004, aims to combat racism and discrimination and promote equal treatment, while respecting human dignity. The establishment of the Authority was the result of the alignment of Cypriot legislation with the European acquis, following the adoption of legislation to combat racial and other discrimination. In addition to investigating individual complaints, the Authority has identified trends and needs of social structures, recognising the importance of systemic interventions.
