Description
Submission under the UNECE Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution and Directive (EU) 2016/2284 on the reduction of national emissions of certain atmospheric pollutants.
As a Contracting State to the UNECE Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution (UNECE/LRTAP Convention, BGBl. no 158/1993) and its protocols, Austria is obliged to submit annual emission data in a format specified by UNECE. Under the NEC Directive 2016/2284 on the reduction of national emissions of certain atmospheric pollutants, this reporting has also been carried out in line with the requirements of the CLRTAP Convention since 2017.
