Description
WMS service corresponding to Habitat of Non-Priority Community Interest 91B0_1, composed of forests characterized by species of the Fraxinus genus, which may appear in 2 different ecological situations. On the one hand, the hillside or zonal ash groves, always located on slopes of muddy and protected ravines, on substrates poor in bases, dominated by Fraxinus angustifolia, accompanied by maples, atrocinereo willows, servals, wild cherry trees, etc. and, in some enclaves of the eastern peninsular on limestone substrates, by Fraxinus ornus. On the other hand, riparian or azonal ash, dominated by narrow-leafed ash, Fraxinus angustifolia, typical of rivers with a Mediterranean climate, which are accompanied by Alnus glutinosa if the flow is permanent and acidic substrates predominate or, in warm areas on basic substrates and rivers with variable flow, by Populus alba and Ulmus minor.
