WMS (Web Map Service) Zoning for the location of offshore wind installations taking into account biodiversity
Description
The WMS (Web Map Service) called "Zoning for the location of offshore wind installations taking into account biodiversity" allows the visualization and consultation of the data set representing the cartographic and alphanumeric information of the defined areas prohibited from installing wind (whether pivoted or floating) as well as areas with greater restrictions for the installation of wind due to their environmental value.The Directorate General for Biodiversity, Forests and Desertification (DGBBD, MITECO) has established a series of criteria for the delimitation of areas in which the location of offshore wind installations is either not admissible due to the presence of marine habitats and species of interest, which must be protected, or must be subject to a more detailed study.
