Description
The data set presents a collection of available digitised information on the subject of glacitectonics collected in the context of the geological and soil survey. The map was prepared on a scale of 1:500,000 based on selections from the information system Geological Map of North Rhine-Westphalia 1:100,000 [IS GK 100], site findings from the state survey as well as information from the specialist literature. Available map themes: Chalk-Scholle; Glacial scarfs; Extrusions and scalings; Extrusions and scalings in the subsurface; Oser, Kames; Ice borders Saale Ice Age; Ice limits Elster Ice Age; Drumlins; Total Kames; Total stubborn moraine; Submersible body concealed; Oser; Solid rock.
