Emergency service by city district
Description
This dataset provides information about the auxiliary periods of the rescue service in the city of Zurich by city district. The auxiliary period says something about how much time elapses from the dispatch of the emergency personnel through the operational control centre 144 to their arrival at the emergency location. Only the urgent operations in which the vehicles move out with special signal are considered. According to the International Association for Rescue, the time limit for assistance must be at least 90 % of the operations less than 15 minutes, and for medical reasons, work must be made for an aid period of 10 minutes. The data set includes statements on the auxiliary periods of all operations carried out in urban areas, regardless of the execution of the rescue service.
