Description

WMS service corresponding to the Habitats of Community Interest of Directive 92/43/EEC of the European Union present in the 1:10,000 scale vegetation mapping of Andalusia for the years 1996-2006, obtained from the crossing between the syntaxonomic communities assigned to each polygon and the proposals in the process of validation of the syntaxonomic communities likely to belong to any such Habitats of Community Interest. The vector information, created in 2010, is based on the terrestrial Habitats of Community Interest (HICs) listed in Annex I of the Habitats Directive. Habitats of Community Interest directly related to a phytosociological community are collected. The conservation status of habitats is not considered in this mapping. This is outdated information, the content of updated information concerning habitats of Community interest in Andalusia is located in the metadata -Habitats of Community Interest in Andalusia, updated information-. A relational table was drawn up that identified the Habitats of Community Interest included in Directive 92/43/EEC with the syntaxonomic communities present in Andalusia. Similarly, the EU Habitat Code was assigned to the communities mentioned in the polygons of the 1:10,000 scale vegetation map of Andalusia that correspond to this table. The service returns information on the habitats of each polygon at viewing scales greater than 1:70,000. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia.
