Description
On geoscientific topics Baden-Württemberg has a wealth of interesting museums and permanent exhibitions, in which the centuries-old study of geology and related topics is documented and exhibited. In addition to special museums on geological specialties (e.g. Muschelkalkmuseum) or paleontological finds of world significance (e.g. Hauff Museum in Holzmaden), there are numerous other museums that present the geosciences in their own departments or special exhibitions.
