Butterflies (grid representation)
Description
The present grid representation, based on table sheet quadrants (MTBQ) and from the year 1850, was derived from the databastands_p (Butterflies point data) and tagf_r (Tagf_r).

For the LINFOS, the data were exported in shape format from MultiBaseCS, prepared according to LINFOS and described in the metadata.
It is not a systematic, complete survey of the entire land area. Rather, data from various projects and volunteering were collected. For areas without found points, therefore, it is not possible to automatically assume that the species is missing. In the case of corresponding habitats or habitat structures, studies on the possible occurrence of the species(s) must be carried out within the framework of authorisations and authorisations.
tagf_r:
The available data provide a first overview of the butterflies occurring in the country M-V.
All available information was included, regardless of the Red List Status of Species.
The data were compiled by Mr Hoppe and Mr Wachlin.
The data are available as raster data based on the respective MTBQ (as point — Centroid of the MTBQ).
