Small road safety interventions - Mia testing ground
Description
This map contains small road safety interventions that have been planned, started or carried out on motorways and regional roads in Flanders.In addition to the well-known large infrastructure projects, AWV also carries out a lot of small interventions on the site: these are works that do not require major reconstruction or for which no major/long-term nuisance is expected. These small interventions do help us to take significant steps forward to improve road safety at these locations. The map contains an overview from 2020 to today of smaller works as part of MIA (Mobility Innovative Approaches). In addition, small adjustments to the infrastructure will increase road safety in the testing grounds in Limburg and West Flanders. We focus here on a new approach and cooperation with (local) contractors where we want to achieve results on the ground as quickly as possible.
