Characterization of the Andalusian coastline: 2000
Description
Physiographic characterization, thematic and magnitude, of the Andalusian coastline from its beginning in Portugal to its eastern end in Murcia. Double delineation of the coastline is included; one of great length that crosses marshes, estuaries and limits of ports and breakwaters and another shorter, in which marshes, estuaries and infrastructures have been avoided, giving rise to a line of length more in accordance with the statistical value that is usually handled. From the long layer, a series of derived layers have been extracted that differentiate, on the one hand, the hierarchy established in the classification of the physiographic units (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4), and on the other, the different topics of interest from the physiographic point of view and the impact on the layout of the coastline (canyons, dunes, urban, infrastructures and other units).
