WFS Central AddressService Hamburg
Description
The Web Feature Service "WFS Zentraler AdressService Hamburg" is a Gazetteer web service (WFS-G), which is based on a Gazetteer database and thus makes the address data available to other applications. The Gazetteer database contains the addresses of the house coordinates and further information from the Statistical Office North. This service has a uniform daily updated, consistent and georeferenced address database for Hamburg.
The Gazetteer service is based on the data model of the Deutschland-Online Gazetteer (DOG). The technical implementation is based on the WFS standard of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). For the definition of the filter conditions of the post-requests, the filter encoding specification of the OGC must be observed.
