Dabo — Database Detections and Drilling in North Rhine-Westphalia
Description
The Geological Service NRW is the central archiving centre for notifiable drilling and geological detections in North Rhine-Westphalia. The data is stored, managed and stored digitally in the data base for digestion and drilling (DABO). Dabo contains extensive, scientifically revised digital layer descriptions for the development of the geological subsurface. Important spatial data are provided for the quick creation of planning bases, such as geological maps, cuts or spatial models. Thus, this data source is very helpful, for example, for the evaluation of building land or raw materials as well as for measures of groundwater protection. Dabo includes information on more than 320,000 holes and digests.
