Description
The geological maps of natural habitats and hiking maps represent the different rocks, their age and their storage in colour; they give indications of their origin during the millions of years and the relationship with landscape and cultural history. Geological cuts illustrate the storage conditions and thickness of the layers. The geological hiking maps also show hiking trails and recreational facilities and lead to numerous earth-historical peculiarities. On the back of the maps are well worth visiting geological sites such as cliffs, quarries, springs and sites of historical mining.
