WMTS Elevation Model Austria 10m
Description
The elevation model of Austria by geoland.at with 10 m spatial resolution is now also freely available as a WMTS service via the Internet.
For an easy and fast download for your project area ("bounding box"), ArcGIS 10.x and Q-GIS 3.x have ready-made Python libraries.
The total download of the entire elevation model of Austria is no longer necessary.
Further information and benefits for the use of the WMTS standard for the provision and retrieval of point-based thematic information (e.g.: Altitude data, ...) can be found at this URL:
