Course map potential geothermal Schieland Group (COP 10, Tretour 25)
Description
Commissioned by the province of Zuid-Holland, the study "Potential geothermal energy in Zuid-Holland" was carried out by IF-Technology, 2 December 2016. This map shows an indication of the number of potential geothermal systems. For this purpose, a grid of 1.5 km by 3.0 km (the size corresponding to the space take-up of a geothermal system) has been laid over the map and the potential per grid has been determined on the basis of the Schieland Groep potential map. The potency is shown in the average power (MWt) and the energy quantity (PJ) that can be produced within the grate with a single conventional doublet at a coefficient of performance (COP) of 10 and a return temperature of 25°C. Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal energy.
