Description
Potential cation exchange capacity of the soil up to 100 cm profile depth represents the amount of interchangeably bound cations at the sorption complex at a pH of 8.2. The classification is made according to KA5, p. 362, tab. 85.
Classification:
very low < 4 cmol/kg,
low 4 to < 8 cmol/kg,
average 8 to < 12 cmol/kg,
high 12 to < 20 cmol/kg,
very high 20 to < 30 cmol/kg,
extremely high > = 30 cmol/kg.
