Salvage areas (Environmental Regulation)
Description
This stock contains salvage areas as laid down in the Environmental Ordinance of the Province of Groningen In this Environmental Ordinance we have included rules for the use of the land in salvage areas. Disposal areas are intended to allow and temporarily store bosom water in case of flooding (high bohemian water levels) to prevent overflow or breakage of bowel quays elsewhere. If possible, we also give storage areas other functions (e.g. nature, recreation). Salvage areas are used more often than on average once in a hundred years.
