JHS 160 Quality Management of Location Information
Description
The Recommendation defines a reference framework for spatial data quality management and assessment procedures based on international standards. The main components of the recommendation are the measurement of the quality of spatial data, assessment and reporting of quality results. The recommendation is intended for spatial data producers whose task is to assess the quality of their dataset in accordance with the customer’s requirements and to report the quality results obtained as a result of the assessment. The recommendation can also be used in defining the quality requirements for spatial data between the producer and the customer. (18.8.2011)
