Temperature in 100 m below ground

Description

Map of temperature distribution at a depth of 100 m below ground. The data are based on measured temperature profiles at approximately 130 deep groundwater measuring points. These temperature profiles serve as the basis for the construction and interpolation (kriging) of a 3D temperature model for the medium-deep underground of Hamburg (Damerau, 2013). With the help of the temperature model, a surface map of the natural temperature distribution at a depth of 100 m below ground was developed.
