Flood hazard map — Flood hazard at 20/25-yearly floods (HQ 20)
Description
The flood hazard map includes four single cards for different mean recurrence intervals in the range of frequent (every 20/25 years) to very rare (every 200 years) events. The flood hazard is determined by the water depth, possibly also flow velocity and annuality (statistical recurrence interval in years). In addition to the drainage, the expansion of the flooded surface can also be influenced by backlog as a result of deposits of sludge and propellant deposits.
