Seismik NRW DS - Seismic investigations in North Rhine-Westphalia - Dataset
Description
The data set covers the location of seismic profile lines in North Rhine-Westphalia, as far as they are known and have been reported to the Geological Service of North Rhine-Westphalia (DG NRW). Much of the representation comes from the German deep geology register, which is located at the State Office for Mining, Energy and Geology of Lower Saxony (LBEG). The lines reported there were adopted in 2004/2005 and supplemented by own research. The attributes were filled with information on archive pieces available in DG NRW, as well as analogue and digital or vectorised seismic profile data in SEG-Y format.
