Water transparency (K490) of the Atlantic Ocean and Alboran Sea. Anomaly by season, 2016 (AQUA MODIS)
Description
Images of differences of K490 (Coefficient of attenuation of light in water for the wavelength of 490 nm) seasonal averages (m-1) of 2016 with respect to the seasonal averages of the period 2000-2016. The images involved in the calculation of the difference images are captured by the MODIS (Moderate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) sensor on board the AQUA satellite. It features a band and a spatial resolution of 1100 m.
