Description
The planning information map shows which green and open spaces have a high need for protection and on which residential and commercial areas or in which traffic areas a priority for action prevails. For this purpose, the results of the evaluation cards for the day and the night situation are summarized. In the effective space (living and commercial space, public transport space) the priority for action is shown. In inhabited areas, the assessment is mainly based on the sleeping conditions (nightly overheating and cold air function), in uninhabited areas on the quality of stay in the outdoor area. Green and open spaces, agricultural areas and forests are referred to as urban climate compensation areas. The planning information map shows the protection needs of these areas on the basis of their function for the cold air balance or as retreats on hot days.
