List of Monetary Financial Institutions
Description
The list offered contains the monetary financial institutions (MFIs) resident in Austria. The term “monetary financial institution” is regulated by the ECB Regulation on the consolidated balance sheet of the monetary financial institutions sector (ECB 2001/13) and includes credit institutions under Community law and all other financial institutions whose economic activity consists of receiving deposits and/or deposit substitutes in the strict sense of legal entities other than monetary financial institutions and granting loans on their own account and/or investing in securities.
