Detection data of geological investigations according to Geology Data Act (GeolDG) — Purpose of investigation: Exploration and Extraction of Mineral Resources (WMS Service)
Description
The State Office for Mining, Energy and Geology (LBEG) ensures the public provision of geological data in accordance with the Geological Data Act (GeolDG), as the competent authority for Lower Saxony, and ensures their access for everyone.
The public provision of geological data is categorised as evidence data, technical data and government assessment data. Geological detection data assign geological examinations in person, local, temporal and general content. Technical data are geological data obtained by means of measurements and images. Evaluation data are geological data that include, among other things, analyses and conclusions on technical data, e.g. in the form of expert opinions or studies.
The presented evidence data refer to the specific, linear and area-like geological investigations indicated by the LBEG. The evidence data are divided into individual selectable levels according to the purpose of the investigation and can be researched in each case.
