Raster data of historical topographic maps
Description
In the topographic map archive of the State Office for Digitisation, Broadband and Surveying, the older editions of the topographic maps of the scales 1:25,000, 1:50,000, 1:100,000, 1:200,000, 1:250,000, 1:500,000 are available as georeferenced raster data. For each scale range, the following maps are available within the specified periods: 1:25.000: TK25 (1919-2008); 1:50.000: Topographical Atlas — Half leaves (1834-1960), German map (1921-1951), TK50 (1957-2008); 1:100.000: Map of the German Empire (1848-1965), TK100 (1971-2005); 1:200.000: TÜK200 (1963-1998); 1:250.000: Map of Southwest Germany (1857-1956); 1:500.000: ÜK500 (1971-2005).
The map sheets of the historical topographic maps are available as scanned grid image with and without georeferencing. In the georeferenced files, the map image and the map frame are delivered in 2 files. Thus, the map image can be assembled without sheet-cutting. Image montages from several map sheets are also possible.
