Planned scope of environmental noise mapping 2017 - Austria

Description

agglomerations with more than 100000 inhabitants, major roads (motorways and expressways as well as national roads) with more than 3 million vehicles/year, major railway lines with more than 30000 trains/year and major airports in accordance with Article 7(1) EU Environmental Noise Directive. The table is available both in the Central Data Repository of the European Environment Agency (http://cdr.eionet.europa.eu/at/eu/noise/df5/envvzjdww/) and in the download service. In addition to the Vienna Schwechat major airport, all airport locations are recorded in the GIS data, as all airports have to be mapped according to national implementation. The data are available for the entire federal territory.
