Ecotourism — Sustainable Tourism in National Parks and Protected Areas

Diploma thesis at the University of Vienna Vienna
Two very different national parks were compared to the importance and implementation of Sustainable Development and Ecotourism, the Banff National Park in Canada and the Gesäuse National Park in Austria. National parks are almost optimal platforms to realise ecotourism developments. Ecotourism is well organised in Canadian national parks and enjoys strong demand.
