Post-crop requirements coastal water catchment areas 2018/2019
Description
The theme shows in which coastal water catchment areas in the RBMPs 2015-2021 are required in the planning period 2018/19 for livestock catch crops. Livestock catch crops are only required in coastal water catchment areas where there is a need for action. Livestock after crop requirements are calculated on the basis, inter alia, of the effort requirements of the coastal water catchment area, the size of the harmony area and the amount of organic fertilisers applied. The livestock after-crop requirements are calculated as a percentage of the individual farmer’s catch crop area and are laid down at the catchment level in the Order on professional animal husbandry, livestock manure, silage, etc. (the Livestock Manure Order). The theme shows only the livestock after-crop requirement targeted at the coastal water catchment areas of the RBMPs. The demarcation stems from the theme: “coastal water basins in the RBMPs” digitised in 1:25,000 and 1:100.000.
