Description
The INSPIRE Service Distribution of Butterfly Species in Germany — Presence provides nationwide occurrence records according to the requirements of the INSPIRE Guideline Annex III topic. The data set includes species observation data from Annexes II, IV and V to the Habitats Directive (Directive 92/43/EEC). The data from the Länder and the Federal Government are merged and made available once a year by the Federal Office for Nature Conservation for harmonised reference dates. The service does not contain information on sensitive species.
