Bundled pedestrian crossings Baden-Württemberg

The pedestrian crossings were derived from OpenStreetMap using the tags crossing=uncontrolled, footway=crossing, crossing=marked and crossing=zebra and provided here again. The OSM data does not claim to be complete.

The tags are described in detail below.

crossing=uncontrolled

A general crossing (pedestrian crossing) without lights of any kind, there are only road markings, e.g. zebra crossings. This feature is also used for pedestrian crossings without barriers or light signals. It could be announced by a St. Andrew's Cross or used for transitions of trams.

footway=crossing

This day marks its own crossing at a pedestrian intersection between two sidewalks.

crossing=marked

This attribute describes a pedestrian crossing that is marked but not controlled by traffic lights or people.

crossing=zebra

A pedestrian crossing (colloquially zebra crossing). This tag is used when the zebra markings and corresponding signs are the most important rule at this transition.
