Atlas of the seagrass meadows of Spain 2015_Peninsula and Balearic Islands
Description
Layer containing the spatial distribution of the marine angiosperm meadows of the Spanish coasts elaborated from the fusion of several available sources, selected according to the criteria of experts. The information is grouped by autonomous communities since it is this administrative unit that provides an organized network that includes both data sources and experts and knowledgeable people of these data and who applied their expert criteria in the construction of this layer. The development of this set of information began in 2013 and concluded in 2015 with the publication of the first edition of the Atlas of the Sea Grasslands of Spain. It is a work of integration of information of very varied nature so its degree of reliability and accuracy is very variable and its use and application must be limited within such circumstances and should not be separated from the original reference sources used for the preparation of the final maps.
