Household spending; categories of expenditure
Description
This table shows the average expenditure of private households, broken down by expenditure categories.
In addition, the share of total expenditure per category can be found.
The table contains confidence margins for the average amounts spent, not for spending shares.
Data available from: 2015
Status of the figures:
The figures in this table for 2015 are final. The figures for 2020 are provisional.
Changes as of 9 February 2022:
The provisional figures for 2020 have been added.
The selection “Product categories” has been extended and additionally encoded to increase user-friendliness.
When will there be new figures?
The next budget research is expected to be carried out in 2026. New figures are expected to arrive at the end of 2027.
