Caratterizzazione bio-ecologica e bionomica dellÔÇÖAMP di Porto Cesareo - Bio-ecological and bionomic characterisation of the Porto Cesareo AMP (EUNIS Habitat Classification)
Description
Seabed habitat distribution of the Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area. Map shows the Posidonia and Coralligenous bed occurrences as well as other infralittoral and circalittoral seabed habitats. The map is coherent with the synoptic Posidonia and Coralligenous (biogenic habitat distribution) along the whole Apulian coasts provided by the Biomap project (IT003004 map already present in the EMODnet seabed habitat portal). Cartography was constructed using acoustic survey, seismic profiles (Chirp / Sub-bottom profiler and ground thruthing data acquisition aimed to map all the habitats with particular attention to those where bioconstrucions occurs.
