Seabed Diversity Classification 2007
Description
The data is an estimate of underwater biodiversity produced with the help of spatial data modelling by identifying regional hot spots where the factors of the physical environment change significantly in a small area and thus indicate diverse communities of organisms. Classes 1 (low diversity) to 5 (high diversity). The material was produced by Metsähallitus (2007) and compiled in connection with the Interreg IIIB-funded BALANCE project.
